Hope is Not a Plan, But Planning Will Generate Hope

April 10, 2015

It’s here. Some call it the “silver tsunami” while others reference it as “the greying of America”. Nearly half of the “sandwich“ generation have a parent over age 65 and are raising young children or supporting grown children.

Alarmingly, thousands of critically important end-of-life and after death decisions are currently being made without the benefit of advanced planning. While “hope” is not a plan, planning realizes hope.

The 2015 spring issue of the on-line FrontBurnerMama Magazine, dedicated to helping moms find balance in their busy lives, has hit the internet - and the theme this spring is "Hope".

Life Matters Media recently added The LastingMatters Organizer as a Palliative and Hospice Care / End-of-life Planning Resource on its website.

Pax World Management “Investing in Women” March 2015 newsletter recommends The LastingMatters Organizer in the “Practice Management Tip” section- “a great tool for advisors to use with clients, helping to organize their personal intentions”.

On February 17 at 6:30PM, Barbara Bates Sedoric will talk about planning for the end of life and what happens after death in the "Peace of Mind" series at the Portsmouth Public Library in the Levenson Community Room. The Peace of Mind series focuses on helping people prepare for and work through life's challenges.

Corgenius and LastingMatters - At the Heart of What Matters Most

January 26, 2015

Corgenius and LastingMatters are companies founded after personal experiences with loss and grief inspired their founders to solve problems that most people tend to tip-toe around. With a deep understanding of, and compassion for, what really happens when someone dies, both companies tackle the challenges associated with planning and communicating before and after death.
